Covens

Magical Structure:

As a coven’s magic is earth-based before being ancestral, coven borders do not follow political or tribal boundaries. Rather, they are dictated by geographic regions and therefore spill into other states’ territories.


Covens are collected into regions, typically in fours, which are governed by an elected regent witch. Those regions are then organized into territories. For example, the High Desert covens of New Mexico are part of the Desert Southwest Territory. Each territory is then overseen by an Ancestral Court.
